Fermented exclusively in French oak barrels. Matured for 18 months in new French oak barrels. Followed by at least 26 months 'resting' in bottle.
(Odour) A charming bouquet of berries, blueberries, ripe dark fruit, fresh and captivating. Some secondary notes of toast, balsamic, liquorice and fresh coffee, a result of the extensive oak maturity.
(Taste) A dense and silky wine with firm and ripe tannins. Wild berries are visible on the palate, as is the acidity that guarantees balance and freshness. A complex and full-bodied wine, with the ideal intensity and concentration for a fantastic evolution in bottle.
Unfiltered wine. Decanting is recommended to improve its characteristics.
An excellent wine for grilled red meat, but also game or typical stews.
