With over 40 years of expertise in the craft, pottery no longer has secrets for Francisco. With the utmost care, he creates the object from a lump of clay in accordance with our design.
All designs are painted by hand, Annabella paints like a real Picasso. So every piece is unique !
We don't have to tell you anymore that we're big fans of pottery. But we are not alone, pottery is even one of the oldest professions in the world, in almost every civilization some form of pottery has been found. The pottery wheel was even invented in Mesopotamia between 6000 and 4000 BC. So maybe the three kings didn't bring gold, frankincense or myrrh, but instead they brought their own Sun in a box ...?
After painting, the objects are carefully placed in an oven and baked.
After the first 'baking process', a glaze layer is fixed during a 2° baking phase. The result is beautiful, original & decorative.
