Beautiful ruby red colour. Aromas : notes of ripe fruit & spices. Elegant start, freshness & closed tannins, full mid-palate, warm balanced finish with wood expression. Ideal accompaniment to grills, stews - or just for fun.
Grape varieties : 40% Touriga Nacional, 40% Touriga Franca; 20% mixture of old wines.
Manual winepicking, traditional pisa-à-pé (pressing of the grapes with feet) & alcoholic fermentation in small open tanks, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged up to 15 months in French oak barrels followed by a 6-month resting period in stainless steel barrels.
