This 100% artisanal wild lavender honey is the backbone of the Portuguese honey harvest, known locally as Rosmaninho. It is made from bees foraging on the Lavandula Stoechas plant, a wild ancestor of cultivated lavender.

The Lavandula Stoechas plant, also known as butterfly lavender, is a wild ancestor of cultivated lavender without the perfumed lavender scent. It grows extensively over the hills of the Algarve, where our honey comes from.
